About the Science Teachers Excellence in Practice Program
The Science Teachers Excellence in Practice Program is a national program and contest that targets science, technology and math teachers, launched for the first time within the Science and Technology Entrepreneurship Program. The program aims to develop projects, tools, and methods used in teaching scientific fields in Palestinian schools by incubating teachers’ innovative ideas. The ideas are developed and implemented, and communicated to the larger public to be used in the enhancement of teaching methods in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) fields in Palestinian schools, as well as emphasizing the innovation and excellence of Palestinian teachers.

The program includes a series of training workshops for selected teachers in the fields of science education, interactive scientific communication, the design and implementation of scientific projects, and teaching methods and scientific research. The program also includes individual sessions with teacher to develop their innovative ideas and to provide them with technical and financial support for implementation.

By the end of the program, excellent teachers participate in a national exhibition and contest to honor their work and highlight their innovative projects, in addition to the documentation of experience and publicity of the projects, research and tools developed.
