AlNayzak Organization is a non-profit, non- partisan, and unique organization that looks for young talents in science, technology, entrepreneurship, engineering, and math (STEEM), and plants an ambitious vision in the hearts of our community: “An Innovative society, capable of producing original scientific knowledge, integrated with sustainable development”.

Position Definition

The accountant will be responsible for managing and preparing financial records, analysing financial data, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The accountant will play a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, assisting with budgeting and forecasting.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for performing the daily financial accounting of the organization’s projects and administrative expenses.
  • Full responsibility for liaising with procurement.
  • Full responsibility for liaising with Al Nayzak authorized banks.
  • Full responsibility for reviewing all claims submitted by contractors and projects for approval, in compliance with the terms of the relevant contracts and budgets.
  • Full responsibility for preparing payments and claims reimbursement for approval with supporting documents as required by the financial and administrative standards of the organization.
  • Full responsibility for conducting reconciliation of bank accounts at the end of each month.
  • Full responsibility for processing Staff salaries, allowances, etc.
  • Full responsibility for registering all financial transactions in the accounting system and maintain accounting records according to agreed standards.
  • Full responsibility for facilitating the work of external and internal auditors
  • Full responsibility for performing any other related duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or any related specialization.
  • At least two-three years of relevant work experience, preferably in Local/ International NGO.
  • Excellent knowledge in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent command in English and Hebrew.
  • Ability to work on the accounting System – Bisan.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear and impactful reports.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt reporting strategies based on changing organizational needs.
