Al Nayzak provides innovative educational interventions that target teachers and students (of different age groups). From innovative educational pedagogies, to innovative spaces like Fab Labs, Al Nayzak aims to transform education by building teacher capacities and providing students opportunities to experience the latest approaches to learning. A main focus under this pillar is technology as a transdisciplinary overarching theme and tool. Whether technology is used for direct teaching, or employed in curriculum design and development, Al Nayzak seeks to bring in the most cutting edge, innovative educational pedagogies and approaches to teachers and students.
The Science House offers a distinctive interactive experience for visitors of all ages. During a tour of more than three hours with accompanied by an experienced guide, the visitor will have the chance to move around the different sections and being introduced into various yet specialized scientific concepts.
The idea of the scientific theatre was developed in Al Nayzak as an additional interactive and exciting method of teaching science and technology. This method combines arts and drama, with science and its difficult terminologies that are hard to transmit to the recipient in traditional teaching methods.
Al Nayzak aspires to contribute to the development process in local society through implementing various programs and activities all across the territory, and believes that promoting gender equality is the cornerstone of sustainable development processes.
The first of a series of INSPIRE conferences headed, designed and presented by youth. The aim is to empower youth towards positive change and playing an active role in their communities; and to share Al Fakhoora students’ journeys of developing their skills, competencies, knowledge and experiences to invest in their communities.
The Positive Youth Engagement Program (PYE) offers a multi-pronged mutually reinforcing program broken down by gender and age across target communities through life skills enhancement trainings with the goal of enabling underprivileged youth to transform into productive and contributing citizens connected to their communities and engaged in positive and healthy pathways to become productive and contributing citizens. Modern and dealing with difficulties and barriers that restrict their access to chances.
