About Horizons Academy

Horizons Academy is a Palestinian initiative supporting young gifted high school students by equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed in obtaining a scholarship and competing for admission to top worldwide universities.

Horizons Academy is seeking a qualified Group Leader to join its team.

Position Definition

Responsible for assisting students with university selection and major selection, in addition to providing mentorship and support for the students.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Full responsibility for responding to routine correspondences as required.
• Full responsibility for liaising with AlNayzak organization team.
• Full responsibility for coordinating between different parties.
• Full responsibility for researching and delivering reports
• Full responsibility for assisting 9th and 10th year Horizons students with preparation of necessary college admission requirements.
• Full responsibility for assisting students in finding their field of interest in terms of studies.
• Full responsibility for assisting students in applying and finding scholarships, visa applications and housing.
• Full responsibility for ensuring that students meet all university requirements.
• Full responsibility for meeting with both students and parents to review academic needs for college admissions
• Full responsibility for guiding students through the entire college admissions process
• Full responsibility for reviewing students’ personal statements and portfolio as appropriate
• Full responsibility for coordinating paperwork to help students meet college admissions requirements
• Full responsibility for holding one-on-one meetings with students and parents to discuss students’ progress and future steps
•  Full responsibility for providing mentorship and guidance to students as required and based on each student’s status.
• Full responsibility for coordinating with trainers technical and logistics operations that have to do with courses.
• Full responsibility for coordinating with Horizons team in Jerusalem and the WestBank.

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree at an international university.
• Proven experience in studying abroad.
• Fluent in English and Arabic.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a relevant field within a local NGO, demonstrating proficiency in generating insightful reports.

• Advanced analytical and reporting skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear and impactful reports.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• A proactive and detail-oriented approach to reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt reporting strategies based on changing organizational needs.
