AlNayzak Organization is a non-profit, non- partisan, and unique organization that looks for young talents in science, technology, entrepreneurship, engineering, and math (STEEM), and plants an ambitious vision in the hearts of our community: “An Innovative society, capable of producing original scientific knowledge, integrated with sustainable development”.

Position Definition

The MEAL officer is fully responsible for research, reporting, as well as evaluating and monitoring the implementation of all projects and programs.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Full responsibility for planning and establishing long-term organizational strategy and action plans.
  • Full responsibility for overseeing and plan monitoring and evaluation strategies and set M&E guidelines and tools for overall programs of Al-Nayzak.
  • Full responsibility for developing and maintaining relations with local and international partners and donors.
  • Full responsibility for supporting the development of MEAL tools and superiors’ quality data collection.
  • Full responsibility for keeping accurate records of data, activities, and community/beneficiaries’ participation in monitoring activities.
  • Full responsibility for ensuring that data is collected and recorded ethically and within the remits of AlNayzak policy on confidentiality and consent.
  • Full responsibility for supporting the use of information, communication, and technology for development to advance MEAL objectives.
  • Full responsibility for leading quantitative and qualitative data analyzes and reflective discussions on ongoing data monitoring.
  • Full responsibility for developing and implements activities according to MEAL plan.
  • Full responsibility for ensuring accountability to targeted beneficiaries, supporting the use of Feedback and Response Mechanism.
  • Full responsibility for supports project evaluations and reviews as required.
  • Full responsibility for integrating protection and gender perspectives in all areas of work, to ensure equal participation of women, men, boys and girls, and people with disabilities in data collection processes.
  • Full responsibility for participating in projects’ specific assessments (baseline, end line) and a multi-sectorial needs assessment and support in beneficiary selection process.
  • Full responsibility for developing information materials for Complaints Feedback and Response Mechanisms.
  • Full responsibility for managing the beneficiary feedback mechanism by receiving and filing complaints based on the pre-established protocols.
  • Full responsibility for keeping complaints records confidential and only accessible to relevant staff according to the internal feedback mechanism guidelines.
  • Full responsibility for identifying and documents lessons learned, generates best practices.
  • Full responsibility for participating/facilitating in internal projects evaluations and learning reviews that are intended for lessons learned and operational decision making.
  • Full responsibility for preparing regular monitoring reports including ongoing data analysis with status of implementation progress.
  • Full responsibility for preparing Focus Group Discussion and other qualitative reports.
  • Full responsibility for performing any other related duties as may be assigned.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Development, English, public policy or any related specialization required, Master’s preferred.
  • At least three years of proven experience in similar positions.
  • Proven experience in the field of proposal writing and fundraising.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and writing skills both in Arabic and English.
  • Advanced Knowledge in Monitoring and evaluation systems.

  • Advanced analytical and reporting skills to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for producing clear and impactful reports.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting software.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • A proactive and detail-oriented approach to reporting, ensuring accuracy and relevance.
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt reporting strategies based on changing organizational needs.
