Al Nayzak provides innovative educational interventions that target teachers and students (of different age groups). From innovative educational pedagogies, to innovative spaces like Fab Labs, Al Nayzak aims to transform education by building teacher capacities and providing students opportunities to experience the latest approaches to learning. A main focus under this pillar is technology as a transdisciplinary overarching theme and tool. Whether technology is used for direct teaching, or employed in curriculum design and development, Al Nayzak seeks to bring in the most cutting edge, innovative educational pedagogies and approaches to teachers and students.
A pioneering creative program that embraces scientific talents in research, innovation, and programming. This program targets the ninth, tenth, and eleventh grades of all middle schools to compete by developing and presenting pioneering ideas, applications, and projects that can be translated into real-world projects. Accepted projects receive plenty of space for creativity. In addition, they have the chance to win a distinguished educational trip to NASA and the most prestigious scientific heads in the United States.
Horizons Academy is a local initiative aimed at developing and supporting young high school students equipping them with the necessary knowledge and tools to succeed in obtaining a scholarship and compete for admission in the top universities worldwide.
Through a four-year co-curricular program, Horizons Academy students have the opportunity to develop both personal and academic skills. These unique competencies allow young scholars to obtain scholarships to attend the best universities that the most prestigious educational systems have to offer.
AlNayzak successfully integrated different technologies into creating innovative and inspiring educational opportunities for adolescents, as it played a significant role in rehabilitating technological infrastructure and re-designing educational learning tools. To continue its journey, AlNayzak in partnership with UNICEF, and other organization launches DEAL – Digital Entrepreneurship Adolescence Leaders. Through DEAL, AlNayzak employs coding as a tool to develop teachers and students life skills, including creativity, critical thinking, problem-solving, decision- making, cooperation, self-management, communication, participation and empathy.
Al-Nayzak organization, in partnership with The Welfare, is launching the “Gateway to Excellence” program which aims to develop the skills of Jerusalemite students from the 8th and 9th grades in critical thinking, scientific research and English language in an enjoyable productive process.
The program relied on guiding and qualifying teachers to enable them to change the thinking style and vision of their students towards the topics presented for artistic treatment in general and the issue of identity and human heritage in particular, based on the methodology (learning with meaning) and based on the strategy (learning by discovery), which is a strategy that requires the student reorganizing his/her information and adapting it in a way that enables him / her to see new relationships that were not known to him before, and to express them with contemporary tools.
T-Tech is a professional development program that aims at developing teachers’ skill in integrating and using advanced technologies in teaching and learning. The program builds teacher skills in 3D printing, Design Thinking, AI, Coding through gamification, Virtual and Augmented reality (AR/VR). It fosters creative thought through strategies that meet student needs and interests in the twenty-first century leading to an enjoyable, interactive learning experience.
