MIP is a continuous process that started in 2006, the annual program that aims at supporting new innovative technical and vocational ideas based on scientifically correct concepts and well-designed engineering to enhance youth socio-economic opportunities and integration with the labor market, through developing new products and creating technical workshops or small factories. Through partnership with existing businesses, the program’s essence is to provide local technical innovators and TVET students with feasible opportunities to achieve socio-economic independence following skills enhancement and capacity building in design and development of innovative business ideas that are income generating and market competitive.
