Al Nayzak in partnership with Mercy Corps, the International Youth Foundation (IYF), and a number of national partner organizations is carrying out the 5-year Program for Positive Youth Engagement (PYE) which is supported by USAID. The (PYE), a multi-sectoral youth project, was developed to assist youth.
By enhancing education, health, employment, community involvement, and other needs identified through supported assessments, the program will support marginalized youth aged 10–19 who are at risk of social marginalization through a select group of national partner organizations and local grassroots community organizations. by giving youth more chances to fulfill their potential and successfully contribute to social and economic development.
The Positive Youth Engagement Program (PYE) offers a multi-pronged mutually reinforcing program broken down by gender and age across target communities through life skills enhancement trainings with the goal of enabling underprivileged youth to transform into productive and contributing citizens connected to their communities and engaged in positive and healthy pathways to become productive and contributing citizens. Modern and dealing with difficulties and barriers that restrict their access to chances.
It also helps young people enhance personal competencies such as communication, self-confidence, decision-making, and goal-setting, in addition to developing skills necessary for career success, such as effective work habits, teamwork, cooperation, financial management, and participation in community initiatives and projects to address community problems and identify important issues that affect their communities, in addition to providing psychological and mental health support for marginalized youth and those affected by societal pests.
